BEYOND THE OVERCAST SKY........

Life is
Not always stars and roses
Or enjoying the sea shore
Not always spring
Or the rains I adore
Not even the luxury of
Whiling away the evenings
Lost in meaningless thoughts
And randomly splatter paintings

Life is
Walking that extra mile
befriending the excruciating blisters
When at the end of the day
Sunshine makes way and sky shimmers
Also, that special glass of water
Which makes the long day
Worthwhile with its flavour
And my lips recite and pray
Often looking at thou
In your eyes, telling myself
Beyond the overcast sky
There is a rainbow and an elf……..
